Vehicle GPS Tracking - Passenger and Delivery Vehicles

Today, a GPS system is much more than simply displaying a vehicle’s real-time location. Our vehicle tracking application offers over 80 functions, and we continuously monitor information from more than 15,000 sensors. Thanks to these features, you can gain insights into fuel consumption, identify who was driving the vehicle at any given time, and even remotely disable the engine if necessary. Here are some of the functions available for passenger and delivery vehicles:

Driver Identification

This function allows you to have real-time insight into who is driving a particular vehicle at any given moment through RFID readers. You can do this in real-time and also retrospectively through reports. All a driver needs to do is ‘identify’ themselves, and from that moment, their driving is detected in the software. If you have allowed any of your employees to use the vehicle for personal purposes, you can disable tracking through a switch.

Fuel consumption control

Through our advanced Canbus device, we establish a connection with the vehicle’s onboard computer. Measurement is performed using the factory float, and the accuracy depends on its quality, i.e., the vehicle manufacturer. In any case, you will receive notifications about fuel draining and refilling, as well as consumption data, which helps prevent misuse.

Eco-Driving Style Assessment

No, this is not an economical driving mode, which is one of the factory options in many modern models. This is our solution for optimized vehicle usage, or evaluating driving style.

The way a driver operates the vehicle is assessed based on the number of accumulated negative points. In the basic package, negative points are awarded for exceeding the speed limit and the duration of the violation. This data is stored in the system, and a final vehicle usage score is calculated based on an algorithm. Drivers can be rated on a scale from one to six.

With the advanced Canbus device, in addition to speed violations and the duration of improper driving, factors such as G-force (abrupt braking), high RPM driving, and sudden acceleration are also assessed. One option is to choose the interval for monitoring driver behavior (day, week, month, etc.), and you can customize the severity of violations based on your specific needs. This means that a driver with the highest number of abrupt brake incidents could still receive the highest rating if the employer's primary concern is maintaining lower engine RPM.

Our system is the only one capable of recognizing speed limits on roads, namely: 50 kilometers per hour, which is the limit in residential areas, 80 km/h on highways, and 130 km/h on motorways.

Vehicle Movement and Usage Control

If you want to instantly receive information about unauthorized attempts to access your vehicle or if any of your drivers have exceeded the speed limit through our system, you will receive an email or SMS notification.

Audio Alert

If the driver starts the vehicle without loading the TAG, there will be an audio alert indicating that they have not ‘checked in’.

Engine Blockage

Through the RFID reader, you can also block the engine. In this case, only drivers with a tag can start the vehicle.

Panic Button

If you want to minimize the risk to the driver and the vehicle, we recommend installing a panic button. In the event of an attack or any other dangerous situation, pressing the button triggers an automatic alarm. This shortens the response time for providing assistance to the driver, which can be invaluable.

Speeding Audio Warning

We’re confident that you don’t want fines to be sent to the company’s address due to a driver exceeding the speed limit. An effective way to prevent this is automatic activation of an audio warning if the driver exceeds the speed limit defined by you.

Remote Engine Blockage

This function has proven to be highly effective in preventing vehicle theft. Through it, an automatic command is sent to the vehicle via the system to block the engine upon its first stop. This option can only be used when the vehicle is turned off, in accordance with regulations, as otherwise, there would be a significant risk of a traffic accident.

Microswitches

Through the Almaks GPS vehicle tracking system, you can use microswitches to monitor whether there has been unauthorized opening or closing of doors or the hood. If such an event occurs, you will be immediately notified.
